Interview is conversation between two or more people, employers use interviews to size up the whole individual.
Elements of the interview are: Interaction, purpose and exchange.
- interaction is the sharing of ideas, messages, information between the parties in the interview.
- purpose is the main reason for conducting and interview; defines the interview.
- exchange is the continual shift in communication and control that happens during an interview situation.
- introduction stage is first part of the interview and build rapport between the parties in the exchange.
- body stage is the stage in the interview where participants often focus on elaborating personal goals, opinions and beliefs.
- closing stage- during this stage the interviewee usually say their final thoughts and summarize the exchange that look place.
I am so glad for learning all those things. The imroved interview helped me a lot, now I have a feeling that I am ready to go in a professional interview. What about you?
